Celebrating Excellence in School Music Education
The Minister for Education, Science and Training, the Hon Julie Bishop MP, opened the
40th Anniversary Conference of the Australian Society for Music Education (ASME),
and congratulated the winners of the inaugural
National Awards for Excellence in School Music Education.
Minister Bishop presented two educators with Highly Commended awards for their outstanding
dedication to making a difference to the lives of students and teachers through music.
